MacArthur Foundation Achievement Award, 2002-the United States representative to the São Paolo Bienal in Brazil. 2007-Time’s 100 most Influential People (Artists/Entertainers) amongst others. MEDIA & TECHNIQUES: Most famously, Cut Paper (silhouettes). She has also used other media such as: drawing, painting, colored light projections, shadow puppetry and film animation.
